low sugar energy bites

If you have a food processor, energy bites are one of the easiest snacks you can make. These bites created by holistic nutritionist Mandy King get their natural sweetness from medjool dates, and feature one of our favourite nuts... almonds! Make them and enjoy healthy snacks all week.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almonds
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons nut butter (we used peanut butter)
- 1/4 cup raw cacao powder (cocoa powder works too)
- 4 medjool dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup coconut flakes
- Optional protein boost: 1 scoop Genuine Health fermented organic vegan proteins+ in chocolate flavour
